HC Deb 06 November 1995 vol 265 c583W
Mr. Simpson

To ask the Chairman of the Public Accounts Commission how much has been spent on outside advertising agencies for each year since 1979; and if he will list the specific advertising campaigns undertaken by his Department, their purpose and their cost. [32480]

The National Audit Office does not engage in advertising campaigns, other than for graduate and specialist recruitment. The costs of advertising for recruitment purposes are currently around £90,000 each year.
