§ Mr. NorrisMy Department has, at present, no outstanding decisions to make on the Nottingham express transit scheme. DOT officials have provisionally agreed Nottingham's section 56 appraisal and look forward to working closely with the recently appointed NET project development group over the coming year. Government funding for this scheme will of course depend on confirmation of the case for funding, the resources available at the time and the quality of competing bids for other local transport schemes.
