The Parliamentary Secretary has asked me to reply to your Question about the confidentiality and accountability of information technology systems introduced within the Government's Private Finance Initiative.Any contractor will have to ensure that information systems serving the county courts and the Crown Court provide confidentiality and support to all who use the systems. They will be operated within the framework provided by the appropriate Rules of Court and other legislation.
