To ask the Secretary of State for Defence (1) how many members of the Gurkha troops are in the ranks of the Parachute Regiment; [41097]

(2) what percentage of the ranks of the Parachute Regiment are occupied by Gurkha troops. [41098]

There are no Gurkha troops currently serving in the Parachute Regiment.
