§ Mr. BaldryThe Commission is responsible for ensuring that member states have in place effective 463W systems for monitoring compliance with the common fisheries policy. its powers of audit were enhanced in 1993 and the Commission will shortly be reporting on the enforcement performance of member states during 1994.
