The remuneration of the highest paid employees of non-departmental public bodies include a performance bonus awarded retrospectively, so it is not possible to provide an accurate figure for 1995–96. The highest paid employee in 1994–95 received £117,000 inclusive of a 293W performance-related element. Information on the lowest pay rates is not held centrally.
