To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will publish the names of the individuals who were recruited from outside the civil service and the military to advise him on "Options for Change" and "Front Line First", respectively. [26143]

No external advisers were recruited for "Options for Change". For external advisers on "Front Line First", I refer the hon. Member to the answer my right hon. Friend the Member for Richmond and Barnes (Mr. Hanley) gave to the hon. Member for Leyton (Mr. Cohen) on 29 April 1994,Official Report, column 399.
