HC Deb 23 May 1995 vol 260 c572W
Ms Lynne

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what facilities are currently available to repair a train on the InterCity west coast service which develops a fault on its southbound journey; and what facilities will be available in six months' time. [24810]

Mr. Watts

This is an operational matter which is the responsibility of British Rail.

I understand that scheduled maintenance activities on InterCity west coast are carried out principally at Glasgow Polmadie, Manchester Longsight, Wolverhampton Oxley and London Wembley. BR is in consultation with the rail regulator about the future of Wembley depot.
