What is the percentage of the population of the United Kingdom suffering from Alzheimer's Disease.

It is estimated that some 5 per cent. of the population of the United Kingdom aged 65 years and over suffer from dementia (of which Alzheimer's Disease accounts for just over half), equivalent to approximately 600,000 people.
