§ Mr. WattsRecent representations include a petition in respect of the Al Gateshead western bypass proposal. I met a delegation led by Sir Ralph Carr-Ellison on 30 March following which I invited Gateshead metropolitan borough council to work with the Highways Agency in considering a trial of junction closures and the development of a local traffic management scheme.
