§ Mr. KynochMy right hon. Friend meets the chairman of Scottish Enterprise regularly to discuss a range of issues.
Local economic initiatives generally fall to be pursued by the local enterprise companies. While my right hon. Friend is aware of the planned initiative by Renfrewshire Enterprise and Renfrew district council to promote for economic development purposes the link between the Paisley pattern design and the town of Paisley, he has no plans at present to discuss these with the chairman of Scottish Enterprise.
