To ask the President of the Board of Trade how much has been raised by the non-fossil fuel obligation in each financial year since 1989; and how the total levy proceeds have been distributed. [25286]

The balance of levy receipts is used to finance payments to British Nuclear Fuels pic in respect of nuclear electricity generated by its plant, and to cover certain other costs such as administration costs.
