§ Mr. Nicholas BakerThe next five yearly review of the office of the Data Protection Registrar will take place in 1995–96. The first stage of the review will consist of a "prior options" study. In accordance with normal practice, this will consider whether the registrar's functions still need to be performed at all—and, if they do, whether they could be privatised, contracted out, or transferred to some other body.
