§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonThe Government remain firmly of the view that funding for the installation of CCTV in Scotland should continue to be provided by joint ventures involving local businesses, local authorities and other groups who derive a direct benefit from the resource. I am glad to hear that a tender has been accepted to provide a CCTV system in Paisley, with substantial public-sector funding.
