§ Mr. ForthThe School Curriculum and Assessment Authority is responsible for advising the Secretary of State on the national curriculum. To that end, it will be monitoring the new curriculum, which will be introduced from September 1995. Precisely how it does so is a matter for the authority itself, and I have asked the chief executive to write to the hon. Member.
