§ Miss WiddecombeThe latest estimates from the labour force survey for autumn 1994 show that 1.8 million males agreed between 50 and 65 were not in full-time employment. Of these, 0.1 million worked 16 hours or less per week, 0.3 million were ILO unemployed and 1.4 million were economically inactive, a category which includes long-term sick and disabled and retirees.
