My noble Friend the Under-Secretary of State for Defence will then write to the hon. Member with details of the numbers of sorties carried out in the United Kingdom by British military aircraft and by those of other air forces. Statistics are not available on the number of sorties flown over particular locations, nor is it possible for these to be estimated.
