§ Mr. Michael ForsythWe understand from the clerk of the justices at Durham magistrates court that the numbers of special orders for exemption granted by the court in the last three years are:
- 1992: 543
- 1993: 218
- 1994: 284
The clerk also informs us that the other information requested, which is not available centrally, could be obtained only at disproportionate cost, but that most special orders of exemption granted by Durham magistrates court to extend evening licensing hours run until 11.30 pm.
