To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what estimate he has made of the number of old-age pensioners in Great Britain(a) who are not provided with full free travel concessions and (b) not provided with partial travel concessionary travel passes; and if he will estimate the cost of providing free concessionary fares to all those presently not provided for. It is not possible to give a precise figure for the cost of providing free concessionary fares for all old-age pensioners.
