To ask the Lord President of the Council (1) what progress has been made within his Department on equal opportunities matters; [21542]
(2) if he will publish the gender assessment being prepared by his Department; [21543]
(3) which Minister in his Department has responsibility for equal opportunities issues. [21541]

§ Mr. Newton
The Privy Council Office, of whose 38 staff 23 are women, continues to operate as an equal opportunities employer within the relevant code. My Department has no plans to prepare a gender assessment.
