§ Mr. BaldryWe have for many years funded substantial programmes of scholarships and awards to enable overseas students to study and train in the United Kingdom.
In 1993–94, the latest year for which complete figures are available, we provided some 21,000 scholarships and awards at a total cost of about £150 million.
