§ Mr. Robert B. Jones[holding answer 26 April 1995]: Prior to 1 April 1989, there were no published grant rates and the available grant was determined on a scheme-by-scheme basis. Since 1 April 1989, the average grant rates available to English housing associations for the development and rehabilitation of property have been:
- 1989–90: 75 per cent.
- 1990–91: 80 per cent.
- 1991–92: 77 per cent.
- 1992–93: 72 per cent.
- 1993–94: 67 per cent.
- 1994–95: 62 per cent.
- 1995–96: 58 per cent.
