§ Sir Paul BeresfordFor the Department and agencies for which I am responsible any conflict of interest involving a civil servant would have been dealt with in accordance with established guidance. Records on the number of cases are not held centrally. In the last five years, five special advisors have declared 11 possible conflicts of interest.
