§ Mr. BoswellThe Education (Mandatory Awards) Regulations, which govern the payment of mandatory awards, require that account be taken of a student's income from all sources reduced by income tax and social security contributions. Student loans, however, are specifically disregarded for the purpose of calculating a student's income.
