Mr. Page

[holding answer 27 March 1995]: I understand from the Post Office that, at the end of February 1995, there were 61 crown post offices operating in Scotland and 735 crown post offices operating throughout the United Kingdom. A list of the crown post offices operating in Scotland, showing the parliamentary constituencies within which they are located, is being placed in the Library of the House.

To ask the President of the Board of Trade how many people are employed at each of the crown post offices operating within Scotland. [16310]

Mr. Page

[holding answer 27 March 1995]: A copy of the list provided by the Post Office of the 60 crown post offices currently operating in Scotland and the numbers of staff employed at each of them is being placed in the Library of the House.
