To ask the President of the Board of Trade if he will list the exact dates of ministerial visits to Indonesia since 1 January 1990, naming the Ministers and giving the reasons for the visit in each case. [16510]

The following ministerial visits to Indonesia covered by my present departmental responsibilities have taken place since 1 January 1990:

  • 26 February 1992: Lord Rae Minister for Technology and Aerospace. Trade promotion visit.
  • 7–10 January 1993: Richard Needham, Minister for Trade. Trade promotion visit.
  • 1–3 June 1993: Richard Needham, Minister for Trade. Trade promotion visit.
  • 10–15 September 1993: Tim Eggar, Minister for Energy. Trade Promotion Visit.
  • 1–3 December 1993: Richard Needham, Minister for Trade. Trade promotion visit.
  • 18–23 October 1994: Richard Needham, Minister for Trade. Trade promotion visit.
