§ Mr. HagueThe Department provides a range of subsidised child care facilities to its staff, including nurseries, 646 places; holiday playschemes, 2,560 places; and child care referral services. A breakdown of child care usage by grade and by gender is not available and could be obtained only at disproportionate cost. However, the Department's child care facilities are open to men and women of all grades.
