HL Deb 29 March 1995 vol 562 cc93-4WA
Lord Teviot

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Pursuant to the Written Answer given by Lord Henley on 8th March (WA 28), what funds are being made available to the Imperial War Museum for the conservation of film archives.

Viscount Astor:

The Department of National Heritage will provide grant-in-aid of £ 11.1 million in 1995/96 to the Imperial War Museum. It is for the trustees of the museum to determine their spending priorities, including the amount required for the conservation of film archives, within the resources available to them.
