Member for South Shields (Dr. Clark) on HMS Sirius what were the dates and total cost of the final refits undertaken for the three decommissioned warships used as targets and sunk in live firing exercises between 1990 and 1994. The last refit dates of the decommissioned warships used as targets and sunk in live firing exercises in 1990, 1991 and 1993 were, respectively: 5 September 1983 to 1 June 1984, 29 May 1985 to 17 February 1986, and 7 April 1986 to 8 December 1986. The costs of refit work undertaken before the royal dockyards passed into commercial management in April 1987 are not available.
