§ Mr. FreemanThe last refit dates of the decommissioned warships used as targets and sunk in live firing exercises in 1990, 1991 and 1993 were, respectively: 5 September 1983 to 1 June 1984, 29 May 1985 to 17 February 1986, and 7 April 1986 to 8 December 1986. The costs of refit work undertaken before the royal dockyards passed into commercial management in April 1987 are not available.
