To ask the President of the Board of Trade what was the total value of regional selective assistance grants made in each assisted area since 1992 in(a) cash terms and (b) constant 1994 prices. [16404]

Information on the amount of regional selective assistance paid is published in the "Annual Report of the Industrial Development Act 1982". GDP deflators to convert expenditure to constant prices are published in the public expenditure statistical supplement to the "Financial Statement and Budget Report". Both publications are available in the Library of the House.
