§ Mr. SoamesMy answer of 14 March about the number of Gulf war veterans who have committed suicide was unfortunately incorrect since it did not take account of the suicide of Sergeant Feddon. Our records are being checked and my noble Friend the Under-Secretary of State for Defence will write to the hon. Member for South Shields (Dr. Clark) as soon as possible to set the record straight.
