§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyI shall publish tomorrow a booklet entitled "Acting on Complaints". This will set out our plans for a speedier, simpler and more effective national health service complaints procedure in England. Copies will be placed in the Library. Similar systems are being introduced in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. I will also be responding tomorrow to the recommendations in the First and Sixth Reports of the 1993–94 Session of the Select Committee on the Parliamentary Commissioner for Administration, which relate to NHS complaints procedures in Great Britain.
