To ask the Parliamentary Secretary, Lord Chancellor's Department what is the cost of the child abduction unit; and how many staff are involved in the unit, fall and part-time.

The cost of the child abduction unit for the year ending 31 March 1995 will be £130,000.

There are four staff involved in the unit: two full time and two whose employment on unit work forms only part of their duties.
