What discussions the Department of Transport is having with other departments with a view to giving wider jurisdiction to officers of the British Transport Police.

The Department of Transport keeps in close touch with the Home Office on policing matters which have a bearing on the work of the British Transport Police, including discussions on the force's jurisdiction.
