§ Mr. JackThe European Union has been a contracting party to the convention on future multilateral co-operation in the north-west Atlantic fisheries since it came into force on 1 January 1979. The United Kingdom is represented at all NAFO meetings and voices British views and concerns within the EU delegation of which the Commission is the spokesman.
