§ Mr. DorrellThe estimated rate of television licence evasion as at January 1995 was 6.8 per cent. which represents approximately £152 million in lost revenue. The television licensing regulations provide for quarterly and monthly payment schemes to enable people to spread the cost of their licence fee. There is also a television licence savings stamps scheme.
