§ Lord James Douglas-Hamilton[holding answer 14 March 1995]: Cost incurred in producing and printing the updated parents charter in Scotland are of the order of £45,000. To date, 80,000 copies have been printed. Initially, 15,000 copies were circulated to schools and other interested parties. Such has been the popularity of the charter that requests have been received for a further 55,000 copies.
Costs incurred in producing and printing "Higher Still: Opportunity for All" were of the order of £10,000.
