§ Mr. PendryTo ask the Secretary of State for National Heritage how many responses he received with regard to the restructuring of children's play, showing(a) the total number of responses, (b) the number of responses, (i) in 508W favour of creating a national body and (ii) opposing the creation of a new national body and (c) the number of responses (1) in favour of extending national lottery funding to children's play activities and (2) opposing the extension of national lottery funding to children's play activities.
§ Mr. DorrellThe Department has received a total of 135 responses regarding future arrangements for children's play. Sixty-five of the individuals and organisations which responded were in favour of the creation of a national body and 24 were in favour of children's play activities being eligible for national lottery funding. None of the responses opposed either of these ideas.
