§ Mr. MorganTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales what consultations he has had with the chairman of the Cardiff Bay development corporation concerning the setting up of the Cardiff Bay advisory committee: what representations he has had concerning the delays in(a) choosing the members of the committee and (b) commencing its activities; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Redwood[holding answer 9 March 1995]: The establishment of the Cardiff Bay advisory committee is the statutory responsibility of the Cardiff Bay development corporation.
I understand that nominations have been received from the 12 organisations selected to be represented on the committee and that the first meeting will take place later this year.
