To ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will make a statement about the timetable for adoption law reform.

§ Mr. Bowis
The Government intend to introduce new adoption provisions along the lines of the White Paper,"Adoption: The Future", published in November 1993, as soon as parliamentary time permits.
