§ Mr. RedwoodI am keen to keep the boards of non-departmental public bodies and health bodies at the minimum number which is consistent with efficient management. Where there are vacancies to be filled, candidates are drawn from a variety of sources. These sources include the Welsh Office register of candidates for public appointment and, in some cases, specific advertisements. Recent health trust chairmanships were advertised.
