The terms of this letter will be reproduced in the Official Report and a copy of it will also he deposited in the Library of the House.You have asked how much money Historic Scotland is providing for the renovation and conservation of listed secular buildings in (a) Inverclyde (b) Strathclyde and (c) Scotland as a whole in the current financial year.The total commitment in the current financial year (that is, payments already made and payments in the pipeline which will he effected prior to 31 March 1995) on historic buildings repair grants for secular buildings in the current financial year is as follows:
- (a) Inverclyde: £103,490
- (b) Strathclyde: £5,028,850
- (c) Scotland: £9,576,000
