§ Mr. HowardWhen the West German police arrested Ghadanfar in October 1988, they discovered a passport issued to Mr. Burtle in his possession, and notified the authorities in the United Kingdom. The passport had been 27W issued a few months before it was reported stolen, which was shortly before Ghadanfar's arrest. It is not known, and thought unlikely, that he ever travelled using this passport.
