§ Mr. DewarTo ask the Secretary of State for Social Security if he will make it his policy to reduce the amount of the reduced benefit direction for parents with care in receipt of income support from 20 per cent. of the income support personal allowance for 26 weeks and 10 per cent. for a further 52 weeks to an amount broadly in line with other deductions from benefit.
§ Mr. BurtWe have no plans to change the policy on the amount or duration of reduced benefit directions for parents with care.
