To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what is his estimate of the effect on annual Exchequer revenues of restructuring the rates of vehicle excise duty paid on cars, light vehicles and taxis so that rates are scaled for different engine sizes to(a) £100 per annum for engine sizes of 1500 cc and less, (b) £130 per annum for engine sizes of 1501 cc to 2400 cc, (c) £150 per annum for engine sizes between 2401 cc and 3000 cc and (d) £200 per annum for engine sizes of 3001 cc and above.
