§ Mr. SoamesThe exercise held in Northamptonshire on 29 June 1994 postulated an accident during the refuelling of a truck cargo heavy duty Mk2. It evaluated the generic contingency arrangements which would apply to any accident in the United Kingdom involving the transportation of nuclear weapons; these arrangements are described in the document "Local Authority and Emergency Service Information on Nuclear Weapon Transportation Contingency Plans", a copy of which is in the Library of the House. The departmental report on the exercise is a classified document.
