§ Mr. David HuntThe full-time equivalent number of staff employed by the Welsh Office in June 1995 was 2,450. The nearest equivalent figures for previous years, adjusted to relate to current departmental responsibilities were:
- 1992: 2,535
- 1993: 2,612
- 1994: 2,609

Figures prior to 1995 have been adjusted to reflect the current method of counting part-time workers hours as a fraction of the working week.
