§ Mr. Robin SquireThe provisional pupil-teacher ratios within maintained primary and secondary schools in England in January 1995 were 22.9 and 16.5 respectively. The provisional overall pupil-teacher ratio was 18.3. Information at local education authority level will be available in the autumn.
