Cost of the New Courts CharterThe Parliamentary Secretary, Lord Chancellor's Department, has asked me to reply to your question about the cost of compiling and publishing the new Courts Charter, including consultation fees.The total cost for designing, printing, packaging and distributing the new Charter, called the Charter for Court Users, will be approximately £162,000 (exc. VAT). This sum includes £500 for artwork consultancy fees. Approximately £17,000 of the cost relates to the Welsh, Braille and audio versions of the Charter.
