§ Lord James Douglas-Hamilton[holding answer 27 June 1995]: The estimated total value before discount of local authority dwellings in Scotland sold under right-to-buy legislation up to the end of 1994 at 1994 prices, calculated using the dwelling prices index, is £7,580.8 million. A total of 228,791 local authority dwellings were sold under right-to-buy legislation up to the end of 1994. These figures include a small number of voluntary sales.
